Avenue Station- Preliminary Station Concept.png

Early design concept for a station at Avenue Road.

You can comment on the early plans for stations, the route and other aspects along the central portion of the future Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line.

Metrolinx has posted an on-line presentation outlining its plans for this part of the line.

The presentation offers early designs for stations between William R. Allen Road and Laird Drive.

It’s already presented plans on-line for these stations on this part of the line:

  • at William R. Allen Road / Eglinton West Station;
  • at Bathurst Street and
  • at Chaplin Crescent.

It’s now presenting, for the first time, early designs for these stations:

  • at Avenue Road;
  • at Yonge Street / Eglinton Station
  • at Mount Pleasant Road;
  • at Bayview Avenue; and
  • at Laird Drive.

You can view the presentation on line here.

Metrolinx will use your ideas and comments to help finalize its plans for the route, stations and other infrastructure that the line requires.
