Highway 7 East rapidway construction this weekend,
November 16, 17, 18, 19

Metrolinx and York Region contractors continue to work on the project to build a rapidway — bus-only rapid transit lanes in the centre of the roadway — along Highway 7 East in Markham and Richmond Hill.

This weekend, contractors are paving parts of the rapidway and nearby roadway at various points between East Beaver Creek Road and Bayview Avenue and continuing with other parts of the project. Expect noise at all sites.
