MiWay is launching two new routes to provide rush hour service between the City Centre Transit Terminal and Westwood Mall.
Starting Monday, October 22, MiLocal buses operating along the new 21 Explorer route offer service every 22 minutes between the City Centre Terminal and the Skymark Hub. Buses operating along the new 24 Northwest offer service every 27 minutes between the Skymark Hub and Westwood Terminal. The two new routes replace service along the former 18 Northwest-Explorer route.
MiWay is also extending the hours and the route for MiExpress buses operating along the 107 Malton express route. Buses now operate Monday-to-Friday midday and also serve Humber College’s North Campus.

Introducing new routes
21 Explorer
Starting Monday, October 22, MiWay introduces this new route serving stops between City Centre Terminal and Skymark Hub on Skymark Avenue between Commerce Boulevard and Explorer Drive Mondays to Fridays only during rush hours.
Buses serving the new route replace most of the southern end of the former [18] Northwest - Explorer route, but operate more frequently, dropping off passengers every 22 minutes, instead of 24½ minutes during morning rush hours and every 29 minutes during afternoon rush hours.
Eastbound buses start their trips at City Centre Terminal, then proceed:

Canceling a route
18 Northwest - Explorer
Friday, October 19 was the last day that MiWay operated buses along the route. Starting Tuesday, October 22, buses operate along the 21 Explorer and 24 Northwest routes, replacing most service along the former route.
With this change, buses serving the new 21 Explorer route operate along the entire length of Explorer Drive instead of diverting along Satellite and Orbitor Drives. MiWay no longer operates buses along Orbitor north of Matheson Boulevard East, but buses operating along the 51 **Creekbank route continue to serve Satellite Drive.
Buses serving the new 24 Northwest route do not drop off or pick up passengers along Dixon and Airport Roads between Carlingview Drive and American Road or along American between Airport and Viscount Roads. MiWay buses operating along the 7 Airport route continue to serve Dixon and Airport west of Carlingview. No MiWay buses operate along American Road west of Viscount.

107 Malton express
Starting Monday, October 22, MiWay extends the route eastward beyond Westwood Terminal to Humber College’s North Campus.
Southbound buses start their trips at a stop at parking lot 7 off Humber College Boulevard near the main college entrance, then proceed:
northward along Humber College Boulevard;
westward along Humberline Drive;
southward along Humberwoods Boulevard;
westward along Morningstar Drive; and then
southward into Westwood Terminal.The buses then resume the former southbound route.
Buses make no stops between Humber College and Westwood.
Northbound buses stop at the layby on Morningstar Drive, instead of entering Westwood Terminal, then reverse the southbound route to Humber College.
MiWay is also increasing service along the route.

38 Creditview
Starting Monday, October 22, MiWay increases service by operating a bus on a new southbound Monday-to-Friday trip along the route.
The bus leaves Creditview Road south of Britannia Road West at 6:44 a.m. Mondays to Fridays. The new trip improves service for passengers connecting with the eastbound GO Transit train that leaves Erindale GO Station at 7:05 a.m.
MiWay is also adjusting the schedule of the route.
201 Dundas
Starting Monday, October 22, MiWay increases service by operating buses on new east- and westbound trips along the route.
An eastbound bus leaves South Common Centre Terminal at 2:29 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Two new westbound buses leave Islington Station at 9:21 and 9:50 a.m.
35 Eglinton
Starting Monday, October 22, MiWay operates buses on new trips in both directions along the route.
An eastbound bus leaves Eglinton Avenue East East of Hurontario Street at 7:24 a.m. A westbound bus leaves Islington Station at 8:07 a.m. Mondays to Fridays.
MiWay is also adjusting the schedule of the route.
107 Malton express
Starting Monday, October 22, MiWay increases service by operating buses along the route Monday-to-Friday midday. Buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops every 28 minutes from about 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Buses continue to serve stops every 16 to 18 minutes during rush hours.
MiWay is also extending the route.
