York University is closing
- Ian Macdonald Boulevard south of The Chimneystack Road
on the Keele Campus all day Saturday and Sunday, as work crews repair a broken watermain.
Brampton Transit is detouring buses operating along the 501 / 501A Züm Queen route, the TTC is detouring buses operating along the 106 York University route and York Region Transit is detouring buses operating along the Viva orange, Viva purple, 3 Thornhill - York U, 10 York U - Woodbridge and 20 Jane - Concord routes, while the street is closed.
Although the TTC has not announced detours, closing the street also likely affects service along the 41 Keele and 60C Steeles West routes.
The emergency watermain repairs do not affect GO Transit service on campus.
Brampton Transit
501 / 501A Züm Queen
From 8 a.m. Saturday, October 20 until 6 a.m. Monday, October 22, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Keele Street and The Chimneystack Road, then detour:
westward along The Chimneystack; and then
northward along Ian Macdonald Boulevard to a stop just north of The Chimneystack,
