The City of Brampton is closing
- Cottrelle Boulevard between Westbrook Avenue and The Gore Road North
starting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 9, during a City project to upgrade the bridge carrying traffic across a nearby creek.
Brampton Transit is detouring buses operating along the 23 Sandalwood, 31 McVean and 214 Cardinal Ambrozic high school special routes to accommodate the work.
Construction continues until November 30.

From Tuesday, October 9 until Friday, November 30, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Cottrelle Boulevard and Westbrook Avenue / Skyvalley Drive, then detour:
northward along Skyvalley;
eastward along Pannahill Drive; and then
southward along The Gore Road North to Cottrelle,
resuming their regular route eastward along Cottrelle.Eastbound buses skip their regular stop
- on Cottrelle Boulevard east of Westbrook Avenue.
Westbound buses reverse the eastbound detour routing.
Westbound buses skip their regular stop
- on Cottrelle Boulevard west of The Gore Road North.
Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop
- on The Gore Road North at Gardenbrooke Trail.

From Tuesday, October 9 until Friday, November 30, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Westbrook Avenue and Cottrelle Boulevard, then detour:
northward along Skyvalley Drive;
eastward along Pannahill Drive; and then
southward along The Gore Road North to Cottrelle Boulevard,
resuming their regular route southward along The Gore North.Southbound buses skip their regular stop
- on Cottrelle Boulevard east of Westbrook Avenue.
Northbound buses operate along their regular route.
