Guelph Transit detours buses during Paisley construction,
October 1 to 5 (*)



Update — Thursday, October 4, 2:37 p.m.: Construction continues until tomorrow, Friday, October 5, instead of ending today, as Guelph Transit previously announced.


The City of Guelph is closing

  • Paisley Road between Alma Street North and Edinburgh Road North

during a project to connect utility services with new houses.

Guelph Transit is detouring buses operating along the 10 Imperial route, while the street is closed.


10 Imperial

From Monday, October 1 until Wednesday, October 10, inbound buses operate along their regular route to Paisley Road and Alma Street North, then detour:

northward along Alma North;
eastward along Suffolk Street West; and then
southward along Edinburgh Road North to Paisley Road / Paisley Street,
resuming their regular route eastward along Paisley Street.

Inbound buses skip their regular stops - on Paisley Road east of Alma Street North and at Edinburgh Road North.

Outbound buses operate along their regular route to Paisley Street and Edinburgh Road North, then detour:

northward along Edinburgh North;
westward along Suffolk Street West; and then
southward along Bagot Street to Paisley Road,
resuming their regular route westward along Paisley.

Outbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Paisley Road east of Edinburgh Road North.
