MiWay detouring buses during Highway 427 construction,
starting August 30

Ontario Ministry of Transportation contractors continue to work on the project to upgrade Highway 427.

Starting tonight, Thursday, August 30, they’ll be closing the ramp for westbound traffic on Dundas Street West heading northbound on Highway 427. The ramp remains closed until mid-November.

MiWay is detouring buses operating along the 11 / 11A / 11B Westwood, 17 Timberlea, 35 / 35A Eglinton, 50 Creekbank, 57 Courtneypark, 70 Keaton, 76 City Centre - Subway, 82 Financial, 109 Meadowvale express routes, while the ramp is closed.

Although the TTC has not announced detours, closing the Highway 427 on-ramp from Dundas Street West likely also affects service along its 192 Airport rocket route.

Tonight only, the MTO contractors are also closing the ramp for southbound traffic on Highway 427 heading to Burnhamthorpe Road. Closing this ramp further affects service along MiWay’s 11 Westwood route.
