GO blocking access to drop-off and pick-up area
at Clarkson GO Station, September 1, 2, 3

Last June, GO Transit started building a new parking structure at Clarkson GO Station.

The project temporarily displaced about 450 parking spaces at the station. The project will continue to limit parking until late 2013. In the meantime, GO is working to find more ways for you to choose to get to and from the station, instead of driving and parking vehicles there.

Later this fall, GO will open a new parking structure at Oakville GO Station, which may provide parking relief to passengers who travel to Clarkson from the west.

This weekend, work on the project will block access to the south “Kiss ‘n’ Ride” — the area where motorists can drop off or pick up GO passengers. Starting Saturday, September 1 and continuing through Labour Day, Monday, September 3, contractors will close that area, while they redesign the fire route. The north “Kiss ‘n’ Ride” will remain open this weekend.
