Paving project at University of Guelph results in detours
for Guelph Transit buses, August 27 to 31



The University of Guelph has asked Guelph Transit to temporarily close parts of the University Centre Terminal, while the university repaves the roadway.

Buses operating along the 1A College / Edinburgh clockwise, 1B College / Edinburgh counterclockwise, 2A West Loop clockwise and 3B East Loop counterclockwise routes are detouring from Monday, August 27 until Friday, August 31.


1A College / Edinburgh clockwise

From Monday, August 27 until Friday, August 31, buses heading toward the terminal operate along their regular route to the University Centre Terminal, but continue northward through the terminal across South Ring Road East to stop at platform 7, instead of platform 5.

1B College / Edinburgh counterclockwise

From Monday, August 27 until Friday, August 31, buses heading toward the terminal operate along their regular route to Gordon Street and Stone Road East, then detour:

eastward along Stone Road East; and then
northward into the University Centre Terminal,
continuing northward through the terminal across South Ring Road East to stop at platform 8, instead of platform 6.

3B East Loop counterclockwise

From Monday, August 27 until Friday, August 31, buses heading toward the terminal operate along their regular route to South Ring Road East and South Ring Road, then detour:

south-, east- and **northward into the University Centre Terminal,
continuing northward through the terminal across South Ring Road East to stop at platform 10.

2A West Loop clockwise

From Monday, August 27 until Friday, August 31, buses heading toward the terminal operate along their regular route to South Ring Road East and South Ring Road, then detour:

south-, east- and **northward into the University Centre Terminal,
continuing northward through the terminal across South Ring Road East to stop at platform 9.
