The management of Yorkdale (mall) is closing
- the southern part of Yorkdale Road
starting at 6 a.m. Monday, August 20 to allow contractors to operate a crane on the roadway.
The TTC is detouring buses operating along the 47B Lansdowne via Caledonia and Bridgeland and 47C Lansdowne via Caledonia and Orfus branches of the 47 Lansdowne route.
Construction continues until 8 a.m. Saturday, August 25.
47 Lansdowne via Caledonia and Bridgeland
From 6 a.m. Monday, August 20 until 8 a.m. Saturday, August 25, southbound buses start their trips in the Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal, then proceed:
north- and westward along Yorkdale Road to Dufferin Street,
resuming their regular route westward along Bridgeland.Southbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Yorkdale Road at Yorkdale’s south plaza.
Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Yorkdale Road beside the GO Terminal, but loop through the terminal before starting their southbound detour.
47C Lansdowne via Caledonia and Orfus
From 6 a.m. Monday, August 20 until 8 a.m. Saturday, August 25, southbound buses start their trips in the Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal, then proceed:
north- and westward along Yorkdale Road to Dufferin Street,
resuming their regular route southward along Dufferin.Southbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Yorkdale Road at Yorkdale’s south plaza.
Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop
- on Dufferin Street at Jane Osler Boulevard.
Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Yorkdale Road beside the GO Terminal, but loop through the terminal before starting their southbound detour.
