City of Toronto contractors are repairing sewers, blocking part of the intersection of Morningside Avenue with Military Trail, starting Monday, August 20.
During the work, the TTC is detouring buses operating along the 116A Morningside (from Conlins) and 116EMorningside express branches of the main 116 Morningside route.
Construction continues until Tuesday, September 4.
116 Morningside (from Conlins)
Mondays to Fridays before noon from Monday, August 20 until Tuesday, September 4, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Ellesmere Road and Military Trail, then detour:
westward along Ellesmere to Morningside Avenue,
resuming their regular route southward along Morningside.Westbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Military Trail at Morningside Avenue and
- on Morningside Avenue at Ellesmere Road.
Eastbound buses operate along their regular route.
116E Morningside express
Mondays to Fridays after noon from Monday, August 20 until Tuesday, September 4, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Military Trail and Ellesmere Road, then detour:
westward along Ellesmere to Morningside Avenue,
resuming their regular route southward along Morningside.Westbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Military Trail at Morningside Avenue and
- on Morningside Avenue at Ellesmere Road.
Eastbound buses operate along their regular route.
