Metrolinx and the TTC are hosting an open house to update you on future construction for the Eglinton - Scarborough Crosstown light rail transit in the area of Eglinton Avenue West and William R. Allen Road, near Eglinton West Station.

During the event, you can learn more and share your ideas about:

• early plans for construction;
• early plans for managing traffic near Allen Road; and
• a community-driven “Shop Local, Shop Eglinton” initiative to support local businesses during construction.

The open house starts at 7 p.m., with an opportunity to view displays and speak one-on-one with staff. A presentation and a question-and-answer session follows at 8 p.m.

Getting there by public transit

• TTC subway trains operating along the 1 Yonge - University - Spadina line to Eglinton West Station. Cross Eglinton Avenue West at the signal, walk west to Atlas Avenue.
• TTC buses operating along the 32 Eglinton West, 63 Ossington and 109 Ranee routes to Eglinton West Station. Cross Eglinton Avenue West at the signal, walk west to Atlas Avenue.
