Festival Shuttle

From 6 p.m. until midnight Thursday, June 14 and Friday, June 15, noon until midnight Saturday, June 16 and noon until 6 p.m. Sunday, June 17, Burlington Transit operates non-stop shuttle service along the 1 Brant route between the Burlington GO Station and the Downtown Burlington Bus Terminal. By parking at the station for free and riding on the shuttle to the festival you can help reduce to environmental effects of driving to the events, and, by contributing $3, you can offset the cost of the service. Buses do not have a schedule, but shuttle continuously between the two terminals. Each bus leaves as soon as it is full.

Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17, the HSR is operating buses along this route, which it usually only serves Mondays to Fridays during rush hours. At the airport, buses drop off and pick up passengers at a special bus stop on the Airport Tarmac, which the buses will reach along the East Cargo Road. Buses will not serve the regular stop at the main terminal building, but will serve all other regular 20 A-Line express stops.

The City of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Parks Commission are closing various streets near the falls to accommodate the event, including:

12 Niagara Falls train

GO is operating trains between Toronto and Niagara Falls to help passengers travel to and from the event. The special GO train leaves Union Station at 3:30 p.m. and arrives in the Niagara Falls VIA Rail Station at 5:34 p.m. (Events around the Falls start in the early evening.) After the event, the train leaves Niagara Falls at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, June 16 and arrives in Toronto at 2:04 a.m.

Both trains stop to pick up or drop off passengers at Exhibition, Port Credit, Oakville and Burlington GO Stations and the St. Catharines VIA Rail Station.

The special train service does not affect regular GO services. GO is not operating extra buses to meet the two trains. It will not offer passengers with bicycles a special coach for storing the bikes.

Niagara Parks Commission People Mover

Frequent shuttle buses link a temporary transit dropoff-and-pickup area on River Road at Clifton Hill with the wirewalk area. Round trip fares for the shuttle service will be $5.

The buses also link various park and ride lots on the outer edges of the City of Niagara Falls to the wirewalk site, including lots at Chorozy Street and Montrose Road, Portage Road, and the Morrison Street lots at Zeller’s and the future Target location.
