TTC contractors continue working on the project to extend the 1 Yonge - University - Spadina subway beyond Downsview Station to the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.

They’ll be pouring concrete at the north-east corner of Finch Avenue West and Keele Street overnight, from 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 until 6 a.m. Thursday, June 14.

The concrete forms part of the base of the future Finch West Station. They’ll be pouring a large quantity of concrete during this time.

Some noise resulting from construction vehicles backing out of the site may result from the concrete-pouring operation.

As the station construction progresses, the contractors may require more overnight concrete pours, but the TTC will notify residents, business owners and commuters before the overnight activity proceeds.
