As GO Transit contractors continue building the new multi-level parking structure at Oakville GO Station, this weekend, Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10, they’re closing a section of the south-west lot beside construction area. While the area is closed, the contractors will take apart and remove the mobile crane that they’ve been using to help build the structure.
GO will reopen the parking areas Monday, June 11. It also expects to open the new facility — with 1,350 more places to park — later this year.
