Update — Tuesday, May 29, 4:08 p.m.*: The commission also will consider staff reports from a supplementary agenda.
The Toronto Transit Commission meets next Wednesday, May 30 at 1 p.m. in Committee Room 2, second floor, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen Street West.
Among other items, the commission will discuss
- a report from the chief executive officer updating the commissioners on how the TTC performed over the period February 26 to March 31, 2012. (You can read the report here). (.pdf))
- a staff report recommending that the Commissioners approve asking City Council for more funds. Since the number of riders continues to increase, the TTC has received more revenue from its fareboxes than it expected. The report recommends applying this revenue to increasing service along many TTC routes, starting in September. (City Council has to approve this.) (You can read the report here. (.pdf))
- a staff report requesting the commissioners approve extending the 352 Lawrence West overnight route to Royal York Road, starting Sunday, July 29. (You can read the report here. (.pdf))
You can read the agenda for the meeting here.
