GO, TTC and more YRT service to Canada's Wonderland

Starting opening day, Sunday, May 6, GO Transit and the TTC resumed their regular seasonal services to Canada’s Wonderland. York Region Transit, which resumed some bus service to and from Wonderland Sunday, April 22, also introduces service along a new express route, with buses linking Wonderland, Vaughan Mills, Richmond Hill Centre Terminal and Finch GO Bus Terminal, starting Sunday, May 6.

Transit Toronto will update the information in this post next month to detail service in July and August.


GO Transit
60 Wonderland - York Mills

Starting Sunday, May 6, southbound buses leave Wonderland Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and operate along Highways 400 and 401 without stopping until they arrive at Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal twenty minutes after they leave Wonderland. They then continue without stopping along Highway 401 and Yonge Street to York Mills GO Bus Terminal, ending their trips 30 minutes after they leave Wonderland.

Northbound buses leave York Mills GO Bus Terminal Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and operate along Yonge Street and Highway 401 without stopping until they arrive at Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal ten minutes after they leave York Mills. They then continue without stopping along Highways 401 and 400 to Wonderland, ending their trips 30 minutes after they leave York Mills.

Starting Thursday, May 17, GO operates the buses seven days a week.

165 Weston Rd North

The TTC is resuming service to and from Wonderland Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from about 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.

Starting Sunday, May 6, it operates one more bus along the entire route to provide the service to and from the park. Buses drop off and pick up passengers every 36 minutes Sunday-and-holiday mornings and every 42 minutes Sunday-and-holiday afternoons and evenings.

Starting Saturday, May 14, it operates one more bus along the entire route to provide service to and from the park. Buses serve each stop every 24 minutes Saturdays.

South- and eastbound buses operating along the 165A Weston Rd North branch start their trips at the Wonderland Terminal, then proceed:

north- and eastward along the Wonderland Access Road;
southward along Jane Street; and then
westward along Major Mackenzie Drive West to the off-street loop west of Highway 400,
resuming the regular 165D route westward along Major Mackenzie West.

West- and northbound buses reverse this routing.

The first bus arrives at Wonderland from York Mills Station at 9:35 a.m. Saturdays and 9:47 a.m. Sundays and holidays. The last bus leaves Wonderland for York Mills at 10:48 p.m. Saturdays and 8:30 p.m. Sundays and holidays.

The last day for the TTC’s Wonderland service is Sunday, October 28.


York Region Transit

760 Vaughan Mills / Wonderland

Starting Sunday, May 6, YRT introduces a new route, serving passengers traveling to and from Vaughan Mills and Canada’s Wonderland.

Buses operate hourly Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only.

Southbound buses start their trips in the Wonderland Terminal, then proceed:

north- and eastward along the Wonderland access road;
southward along Jane Street;
westward along the Vaughan Mills access road into Vaughan Mills Terminal;
eastward along the Vaughan Mills access road;
southward along Jane;
eastward along Highway 7 West and East;
northward along Garden Avenue;
northward into Richmond Hill Centre Terminal, then continuing;
westward along Garden Avenue;
southward along Yonge Street; and then
eastward into Finch GO Bus Terminal,
ending their trips.

Southbound buses pick up passengers at Wonderland and Vaughan Mills Terminals, but serve no other stops until Richmond Hill Centre Terminal. South of Richmond Hill Centre, the buses serve all local YRT stops along Yonge Street until Finch GO Bus Terminal.

Southbound buses leave Wonderland at 10 a.m. Saturdays and every hour until 10 p.m. They leave Wonderland at 9 a.m. Sundays and holidays and every hour until 8 p.m.

YRT operates an extra southbound bus Saturday, June 30 — the Saturday of the Canada Day holiday weekend. The bus leaves Wonderland at 11 p.m. It operates two extra southbound buses Sundays, May 21, June 17 and June 24. The buses leave Wonderland at 9 and 10 p.m.

Northbound buses reverse the routing.

Northbound buses serve local YRT stops until Richmond Hill Centre Terminal, then operate express to Wonderland, stopping only at Vaughan Mills.

Northbound buses leave Finch GO Bus Terminal at 9 a.m. Saturdays and every hour until 9 p.m.

YRT operates an extra northbound bus Saturday, June 30. The bus leaves Finch at 10 p.m. It operates two extra northbound buses Sundays, May 21, June 17 and June 24. The buses leave Finch at 8 and 9 p.m.

YRT buses operating along the 20 Jane - Concord route resumed local service to the park seven days a week Sunday, April 22.


Brampton Transit is not resuming its 66 Wonderland express service between the Bramalea Terminal and Wonderland this year. Brampton Transit is recommending that passengers board buses operating along the 501 Züm Queen route to Jane Street, then board YRT buses operating along the 20 Jane - Concord route to reach Wonderland.


MiWay resumes its 88 Wonderland express service between the City Centre Terminal at Square One and Wonderland Saturday, May 19. Buses operate Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only until late June, when they start operating seven days a week.
