You can now use PRESTO fare cards at GO Transit bus terminals in Newmarket and North York as the terminals become PRESTO “agencies”.
At a PRESTO agency, you can
- buy a PRESTO card,
- “load” value onto your card,
- check your balance and
- make various other transactions.
Newmarket
- the Newmarket GO Bus Terminal now has a PRESTO agency. You can use your PRESTO card to pay fares on all York Region Transit / Viva buses and GO buses.
North York
- York Mills GO Bus Terminal now has a PRESTO agency. You can use your PRESTO card to pay fares on all GO buses. You can use the card to enter the “fare-paid” area at the TTC’s nearby York Mills Station, meaning you can board TTC subway trains operating along the 1 Yonge - University - Spadina line and all buses entering the York Mills Station bus terminal. However, you’ll need a paper transfer if you plan to ride trains or buses from York Mills and then connect with other TTC services.
