Some call it “reading week”. Some call it “study week”. Some call it “mid-winter break”. Whatever you call it, the fact is that many colleges and universities are canceling classes next week, Tuesday, February 21 until Friday, February 24.
(Monday, February 20 is Family Day, a statutory holiday in Ontario. Most transit agencies except GO Transit operate with Sunday or holiday schedules that day. GO operates with Saturday schedules.)
Since fewer passengers are traveling to and from Brock University, Conestoga College’s Doon Campus, Durham College’s Oshawa Campus, McMaster University, Trent University’s Symons Campus, the University of Guelph, the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University and York University’s Keele Campus next week, GO Transit and other local transit agencies are canceling some of their bus services.
