TTC repairs Spadina tracks, detours streetcars,
January 21 to 23

From 5 a.m. Saturday, January 21 until 5 a.m. Monday, January 23, the TTC is repairing the streetcar tracks on Lower Spadina Avenue between Bremner / Fort York Boulevard and Queens Quay West.

During the repairs, it’s operating streetcars serving the 510 Spadina route to and from Bathurst Station, instead of Spadina Station. Shuttle buses replace the cars along Spadina Avenue, Spadina Crescent and Lower Spadina Avenue.

510 Spadina

From 5 a.m. Saturday, January 21 until 5 a.m. Monday, January 22, south- and eastbound cars start their trips in Bathurst Station, then proceed:

southward along Bathurst Street; and then
eastward along Queens Quay West to Lower Spadina Avenue,
resuming their regular route eastward along Queens Quay West.

West- and northbound cars that start their trips at Union Station operate along their regular route to Queen’s Quay West and Lower Spadina Avenue, then detour:

westward along Queens Quay West;
northward along Bathurst Street; and then
eastward into Bathurst Station,
ending their trips.

West- and northbound cars that start their trips in the Queens Quay / Spadina Loop, leave the loop, then detour:

southward along Lower Spadina Avenue;
westward along Queens Quay West;
northward along Bathurst Street; and then
eastward into Bathurst Station terminal,
ending their trips.

510 Spadina shuttle buses

From 5 a.m. Saturday, January 21 until 5 a.m. Monday, January 22, buses replace the streetcars.

Southbound cars start their trips in Spadina Station terminal, then proceed:

southward along Spadina Road, Spadina Avenue, Spadina Crescent, Spadina Avenue and Lower Spadina Avenue;
eastward along Queens Quay West; and then
north- and westward into Queens Quay / Spadina Loop,
ending their trips.

Northbound buses start their trips in Queens Quay / Spadina Loop, then proceed:

northward along Lower Spadina Avenue, Spadina Avenue, Spadina Crescent, Spadina Avenue and Spadina Road; and then
eastward into Spadina Station terminal,
ending their trips.

Buses stop at the same intersections that the streetcars usually do, but drop off and pick up passengers at stops beside the curb, instead of the usual “island” streetcar stops in the middle of the street.
