You can use PRESTO cards at Weston GO Station,
November 17

You can use PRESTO fare cards at Weston GO Station starting tomorrow, Wednesday, November 17, as Weston becomes the next PRESTO “agency” at a GO station.

At a PRESTO agency, you can

  • buy a PRESTO card,
  • “load” value onto your card,
  • check your balance and
  • make various other transactions.

At Weston GO Station, you can use your PRESTO card to pay fares on all GO Transit trains serving the station. You can’t use the card to pay your fare on TTC buses.

Read Transit Toronto’s June 4 post for more information about using PRESTO cards on GO trains.

GO previously announced that both Bloor and Weston GO Stations would be PRESTO agencies, starting Remembrance Day, Thursday, November 11. Due to “technical glitches”, it could not activate the cards at Weston that day, although passengers could use the cards at Bloor.
