The City of Toronto is closing:
- Sherbourne Street between Queen and Richmond Streets East
on Saturday, while workers repair the watermains.
The TTC is detouring buses operating along the 75 Sherbourne route, while the roadway is closed. The work may also affect service along the 65 Parliament route, since the TTC is detouring those buses along Sherbourne Street during a major construction project on Parliament Street.
75 Sherbourne
From 6 a.m. until 9 p.m., southbound buses operate along their regular route to Sherbourne Street and Queen Street East, then detour:
eastward along Queen Street East;
southward along Ontario Street; and then
westward along Richmond Street East to Sherbourne Street,
resuming their regular route southward along Sherbourne.Southbound buses serve all regular stops.
Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Sherbourne Street and Richmond Street East, then detour:
westward along Richmond East;
northward along Jarvis Street; and then
eastward along Queen Street East to Sherbourne Street,
resuming their regular route northward along Sherbourne.Northbound buses skip their regular stop
- on Sherbourne Street at Queen Street East.
65 Parliament
(If construction continues on nearby Parliament Street this Saturday, buses operating along the 65 Parliament route likely also follow the same detour route.)
