Update — September 5, 8:13 a.m.: Streetcars operating along the 504 King route resumed regular service along King Street West between Roncesvalles Avenue and King Street West at 5 a.m. this morning.
The City and TTC also reopened the intersection of Roncesvalles Avenue and Dundas Street West at 5 a.m. today. Streetcars operating along the 306 Carlton overnight and 505 Dundas routes resume regular service. Buses operating along the 313 Jane overnight and 504 King shuttle routes continue to detour.
Also at 5 a.m., the TTC starts a weekend-only project to maintain the streetcar tracks along the Queensway. Buses replace streetcars operating along the 301 Queen overnight and 501 Queen routes. The buses operate between Long Branch Loop and Dundas West Station and also replace 504 King shuttle buses Saturdays, Sundays and holidays until late November.
Update — August 21, 9:01 a.m.: Construction at Roncesvalles Avenue at Dundas Street West means more detours for TTC buses and streetcars, starting Monday, August 23.
Update — August 8, 12:22 p.m.: The TTC bus detours during construction on Roncesvalles Avenue actually started at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13.
Update — July 7, 9:17 a.m.: The City is again closing Roncesvalles Avenue to southbound traffic on Monday, July 12. The TTC is further detouring buses.

Starting Sunday, May 9, City of Toronto contractors start work on a project to repair and install watermains along King Street West between the Queensway / Queen Street West and Jameson Avenue.
The project continues the watermain work that kept streetcars off Roncesvalles Avenue since Monday, July 20, 2009. This spring and summer, streetcars still won’t operate along Roncesvalles — the City and the local business improvement area merchants are working on another project to restore and upgrade the streetscape, including all streetcar stops.
The TTC is detouring streetcars operating along the 504 King and 508 Lake Shore routes, while contractors work on the sewers along King Street West. Shuttle buses operate between Dundas West Station and Shaw Street to replace the streetcars.
504 King
Starting Sunday, May 9, eastbound streetcars start their trips at the Sunnyside Loop, then proceed:
southward along Sunnyside Avenue;
eastward along the Queensway and Queen Street West; and then
southward along Shaw Street to King Street West,
resuming their regular route eastward along King West.Westbound streetcars reverse this detour routing.
Shuttle buses replace the cars.
504 King shuttle bus
Starting Sunday, May 9, buses operate along Dundas Street West, Roncesvalles Avenue and King Street West between Dundas West Station and Shaw Street.
South- and eastbound buses start their trips at Dundas West Station, then proceed:
southward along Dundas Street West and Roncesvalles Avenue; and then
southeast- and eastward along King Street West to Strachan Avenue;
ending their trips.West- and northbound buses start their trips on Strachan Avenue south of King Street West, then proceed:
southward along Strachan;
westward along Douro;
northward along Shaw Street;
west- and northwestward along King Street West;
northward along Roncesvalles Avenue and Dundas Street West; and then
westward into Dundas West Station,
