The City of Toronto is closing several streets in downtown Toronto on Sunday morning to accommodate the annual run, including:
- Wellington Street West between Clarence Square and Yonge Street.
Registration fees support Achilles Canada, a non-profit organization that allows people with disabilities to benefit from running.
The event may affect TTC bus service.

From about 9 until 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 14, eastbound buses operate along their regular route.
Westbound buses operate along their regular detour route to Wellington and Yonge Streets, then further detour:
northward along Yonge Street;
westward along Richmond Street West; and then
southward along Bay Street to Wellington Street East,
resuming their regular route southward along Bay.
Toronto St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The City of Toronto is closing
- Harbord Street between Spadina Avenue and St. George Street,
- Hoskin Avenue between St. George Street and Queen’s Park Crescent West
and other streets near the St. George Campus of the University of Toronto from about 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, while parade organizers set up the second annual parade.
The parade starts from St. George Street and Bloor Street West at noon. As it reaches the various parts of its route and then clears the streets after it passes by, the City is closing and then re-opening streets in downtown Toronto from noon until about 3 p.m., including
- Bloor Street West between St. George and Yonge Streets,
- Queen Street West between Yonge Street and University Avenue and
- Yonge Street between Bloor and Queen Streets.
To help control traffic during the parade and while parade participants are dispersing, the City is also closing several streets around City Hall from 12:30 until about 3 p.m., including:
- Bay Street between Dundas and Queen Streets West.
The TTC is detouring transit services during the event.
