GO buses detour at the University of Guelph today

The University of Guelph closed access to all roadways on its campus for 24 hours starting at 12:01 a.m. this morning.

GO Transit is detouring buses off the campus today.

33C Guelph - Brampton

(GO did not include this service when it announced its detour.)

Two eastbound buses usually start their trips at the University of Guelph on Friday afternoons or on Thursdays if Friday is a holiday.

Instead, the buses likely start their trips on Stone Road West, west of Gordon Street, then proceed:

westward along Stone West;
northward along Edinburgh Road South; and then
eastward along College Avenue West to Gordon,
resuming their regular route northward along Gordon.

29 U of Guelph - Cooksville
48 U of Guelph - York U

(GO has confirmed this detour)

Eastbound buses start their trips on Stone Road West, west of Gordon Street, then proceed:

westward along Stone West;
northward along Edinburgh Road South; and then
eastward along College Avenue West to Gordon,
resuming their regular route southward along Gordon.

Guelph Transit has not announced detours, but closing the campus to all traffic affects service along the 51 Gordon, 52 University / Kortright and 70 A / B Perimeter routes.
