Random bullet wounds TTC passenger

CP 24 reports that an ambulance took a man in his twenties to hospital after he was randomly shot in the shoulder aboard a TTC bus operating along the 108 Downsview route last night.

The Toronto Police Service says the bus was operating southbound on Arleta Avenue near Sheppard Avenue West, when a rogue bullet pierced the window and struck the passenger.

Police are calling the shooting a random act of violence and say the shooter did not target the victim — the bullet hit him randomly.

They expect the victim to fully recover from his injury.
