Yesterday, Monday, November 9, members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 3906 ratified McMaster University’s offer, ending the strike by teaching assistants and research assistants at the university.
Transit agencies resumed regular service to Mac today, Tuesday, November 10.
GO Transit buses resume serving the McMaster University GO Bus Terminal on the west side of the campus off Cootes Drive. Hamilton Street Railway buses resume serving stops inside the campus along Sterling Street and University Avenue. Coach Canada and Greyhound Canada buses resume serving their stops on the west side of campus near the GO terminal.
The strike started on Monday, November 2.
