Specifically, DRT is: introducing a new branch of a current route; revising current routes; and decreasing service along current routes.

Introducing a new branch of a current route

916B Rossland

Starting Monday, November 2, DRT introduces a new branch of the route, operating Monday-to-Saturday evenings after 7:30 p.m. and all day Sundays and holidays only.

South- and westbound buses operate along the current 916 route to Walmart, then proceed:

northward along Harmony Road North;
eastward along Coldstream Drive;
southward along Grandview Street North;
westward along Rossland Road to Harwood Avenue North,
resuming the current 916 route southward along Harwood North toward Ajax GO Station.

Northbound buses reverse this routing.

After 9 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, after 7:30 p.m. Saturdays and all day Sundays and holidays, starting Monday, November 2, DRT buses do not serve current route 916 stops on Taunton Road East between Grandview Street North and Townline Road North. After 7:30 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays and all day Sundays and holidays, DRT buses do not serve current route 916 stops on Townline Road North between Taunton Road East and Coldstream Drive, on Coldstream Drive between Townline Road North and Grandview Street North, Wilson Road North between Terrace Drive and Rossland Road East and on Terrace Drive.

Monday-to-Saturday evenings after 7 p.m. and all day Sundays and holidays only, buses operating along the new 916B branch of the route serve the current route 916 stops along Grandview Street North between Coldstream Drive and Taunton Road East.

Revising current routes

501 Aspen Springs

Starting Monday, November 2, DRT revises the route so that buses operate closer to Clarington Central Secondary School and serve stores and theatres at the west end of Bowmanville.

Buses operate along their current route to King Street West (Regional Highway 2) and Green Road, then proceed:

northward along Green;
eastward along Uptown Boulevard; and then
southward along Martin Road (Regional Road 57) to King West,
resuming their current route eastward along King.

Buses operating along the revised route introduce new transit service along Uptown Boulevard.

DRT no longer operates buses eastward along Highway 2 between Green and Martin Roads.

405 Central Park

Starting Monday, November 2, DRT revises the route so that buses operating along the 405 Central Park route no longer serve the stop at the Legends Centre or the stops along Harmony Road North between the Legends Centre and Coldstream Drive and between Taunton Road and Storie Avenue, along Storie Avenue, along Attersley Drive between Storie Avenue and Wilson Road North and along Wilson Road North between Beatrice Street East and Attersley Drive.

Buses operating along the revised route introduce new transit service westward along Coldstream Drive between Harmony and Wilson Roads North, northward along Wilson Road North between Coldstream Drive and Greenhill Avenue, westward along Greenhill, north-, west- and southward along Ormond Drive between Greenhill and Woodmount Drive and eastward along Coldstream between Ritson and Wilson Roads North.

Starting Monday, November 2, DRT no longer operates buses along Harmony Road North between Beatrice Street East and Storie Avenue, Storie Avenue or Attlersley Drive between Elderberry Drive and Wilson Road North.

Mondays to Fridays only during rush hours and Saturdays from about 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., southbound buses start their trips on Woodmount Drive between Ormond Drive and Ritson Road North, then proceed:

westward along Woodmount;
southward along Ritson North;
eastward along Coldstream Drive; and then
southward along Wilson Road North to Beatrice Street East,
resuming their current route westward along Beatrice East.

Southbound buses serve the current 407 Ritson stops on Woodmount between Ormond and Ritson North and on Ritson North between Ormond and Coldstream and current 414 Oshawa Community Bus stops on Wilson Road North between Taunton Road East and Beatrice Street East.

Northbound buses operate along their current route to Taunton Road East and Harmony Road North, then proceed:

eastward along Taunton East;
counterclockwise through the Smart Centre (Walmart) access roads;
northward along Harmony North;
westward along Coldstream Drive;
northward along Wilson Road North;
westward along Greenhill Avenue;
north-, west- and southward along Ormond Drive; and then
westward along Woodmount Drive to Ritson Road North,
ending their trips.

Buses operating along the revised 407 Ritson route and buses operating along the 421 Townline route continue to serve current route 405 stops at the Legends Centre and along Harmony Road North between the Legends Centre and Coldstream Drive.

Buses operating along the 410 Olive - Harmony route continue to serve current southbound route 405 stops on Harmony Road North between Taunton Road East and Beatrice Street East and current westbound route 405 stops on Attersley Drive between Storie Avenue and Elderberry Drive.

502 Liberty

Starting Monday, November 2, DRT revises the route so that buses operate eastward along Longworth Avenue between Liberty Street North and Mearns Avenue, northward along Mearns Avenue between Longworth Avenue and Freeland Drive, westward along Bons Avenue between Liberty and Scugog Streets North and southward along Scugog Street North between Bons and Longworth Avenues.

Buses operate along their current route to Liberty Street North and Longworth Avenue, then proceed:

eastward along Longworth;
northward along Mearns Avenue;
westward along Freeland and Bons Avenues; and then
southward along Scugog Street North to Longworth,
resuming their current route southward along Scugog North.

Buses operating along the revised route introduce new transit service along Longworth Avenue between Liberty Street North and Mearns Avenue, along Mearns Avenue between Longworth and Freeland Avenues, along Bons Avenue and along Scugog Street North between Bons and Longworth Avenues.

DRT buses no longer serve the current northbound route 502 stops along Liberty Street North between Longworth Avenue and 3rd Concession Road, eastbound stops along 3rd Concession, southbound stops along Mearns Avenue between 3rd Concession and Freeland, southbound stops along Liberty Street North between Freeland and Longworth Avenues and westbound stops along Longworth Avenue between Liberty and Scugog Streets North.

414 Oshawa Community Bus

Starting Monday, November 2, DRT revises the route so that buses no longer operate westward along Taunton Road East between Ritson Road North and the Smart Centres, through the Smart Centre (Walmart) access roads, northward along Harmony Road North between the Smart Centre and the Legends Centre, through the Legends Centre, southward along Harmony North between the Legends Centre and Taunton East, westward along Taunton North between Harmony and Wilson Roads North, southward along Wilson North between Taunton East and Terrace Drive and southwest along Terrace between Wilson North and Mayfair Drive.

Buses on the revised route introduce new transit service eastward along Beatrice Street East between Ritson Road North and Central Park Boulevard and eastward along Mayfair Drive between Central Park Boulevard and Terrace Drive.

At 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, southbound buses start their trips at Ormond Drive and Ritson Road North, and proceed:

southward along Ritson North;
eastward along Beatrice Street East;
southward along Central Park Boulevard; and then
eastward along Mayfair Drive to Terrace Drive,
resuming their current route southwestward along Terrace.

Southbound buses serve current southbound 407 Ritson stops along Ritson Road North between Ormond Drive and Beatrice Street East and current southbound 405 Central Park stops along Central Park Boulevard between Beatrice Street East and Mayfair Drive.

At 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, northbound buses operate along their current route to Ormond Drive and Ritson Road and end their trips.

Starting Monday, November 2, DRT no longer operates buses along Wilson Road North between Beatrice Street East and Terrace Drive.

Buses operating along the revised 405 Central Park, 407 Ritson and 916 Rossland routes continue to serve current eastbound route 414 stops along Taunton Road East between Ritson Road and the Smart Centre.

Buses operating along the revised 405 Central Park, the 410 Olive / Harmony, the revised 407 Ritson, the revised 416 Rossland and the 421 Townline routes continue to serve stops at the Smart Centre.

Buses operating along the revised 405 Central Park, the revised 407 Ritson and the 421 Townline routes continue to serve current northbound route 414 stops along Harmony Road North between the Smart Centre and Coldstream Drive. 407 Ritson

Starting Monday, November 2, DRT revises the route so that buses no longer operate westward along Taunton Road East between the Smart Centre (Walmart) and Wilson Road North, northward along Wilson Road North between Taunton East and Coldstream Drive, northward along Ormond Drive between Coldstream and Woodmount Drives, westward along Woodmount between Ormond and Ritson Road North and southward along Ritson North between Woodmount and Coldstream Drive.

Buses on the revised route replace current 405 Central Park service along Harmony Road North between Coldstream Drive and the Legends Centre and at the Legends Centre. They also introduce new transit service westward along Coldstream Drive between Harmony and Wilson Roads North.

Mondays to Saturdays before 10 p.m. and all day Sundays and holidays, southbound buses start their trips at the Legends Centre, and proceed:

southward along Harmony Road North; and then
westward along Coldstream Drive to Ritson Road North,
resuming their regular route southward along Ritson North.

Southbound buses operating along the revised 407 Ritson route serve current 405 Central Park, 414 Oshawa Communty Bus and 421 Townline stops at the Legends Centre and on Harmony Road North between the Legends Centre and Coldstream Drive. (Buses operating along the 405 Central Park and 414 Oshawa Community Bus routes no longer serve those stops starting Monday, November 2.)

Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Taunton Road East and Harmony Road North, then proceed:

northward along Harmony North;
counterclockwise through the Smart Centre (Walmart) access roads; and then
northward to the Legends Centre, ending their trips.

Northbound buses serve current 405 Central Park, 414 Oshawa Community Bus and 421 Townline stops along Harmony Road North between the Smart Centres and the Legends Centre. Starting Monday, November 2, DRT no longer operates buses along Ormond Drive between Coldstream and Woodmount Drives.

Buses operating along the revised 405 Central Park route serve the current westbound route 407 stop along Woodmount Drive between Ormond Drive and Ritson Road North. Buses operating along the revised 405 Central Park route and the 416 Rossland continue to serve the current southbound route 407 stop along Ritson Road North between Woodmount and Coldstream Drives.

916 Rossland

Starting Monday, November 2, revises the route so that buses no longer operate along Grandview Street North, north of Taunton Road East before 7:30 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays or Taunton Road East between the Smart Centre (Walmart) and Grandview North seven days a week.

Buses operating along the revised route introduce new transit service along Coldstream Drive in both directions between Grandview Street North and Harmony Road North.

Mondays to Saturdays after 7:30 p.m. and all day Sundays and holidays, buses operate along a revised route from Ajax GO Station, serving the new 916B branch of the route.

408 Stevenson

Starting Monday, November 2, YRT extends the route south of the Oshawa Centre to serve the Walmart at Stevenson Road South and Laval Drive and simplifies the north end of the route.

Southbound buses start their trips at Rossland Road West and Stevenson Road North, then proceed,

southward along Stevenson North;
eastward along Marion Avenue;
southward along Gibbons Street and the Oshawa Centre service road to the Oshawa Centre Terminal, then continuing
southward along the Oshawa Centre service road;
westward along Gibb Street;
southward along Stevenson Road South; and then
westward along Laval Drive to just west of Stevenson South,
ending their trips.

Southbound buses no longer operate northward along Gibbons Street between Marion Avenue and Rossland Road West, westward along Rossland West between Gibbons Street and Waverley Street North, southward along Waverley North between Rossland West and Annapolis Avenue and westward along Annapolis Avenue between Waverley North and Gibbons.

Northbound buses start their trips at Walmart on Laval Drive just west of Stevenson Road South, then proceed:

westward along Laval;
southward along Fox Street;
eastward along Champlain Avenue;
northward along Stevenson Roads South and North;
westward along Annapolis Avenue;
northward along Waverley Street North; and then
eastward along Rossland Road West to Stevenson North,
ending their trips.

Northbound buses no longer operate through the Oshawa Centre Terminal.

Starting Monday, November 2, buses operating along the revised 408 Stevenson route introduce new transit service southbound along Gibbons Street between Marion and Annapolis Avenues, westward along Laval Drive between Stevenson Road South and Fox Street, southward along Fox Street and eastward along Champlain Drive between Fox and Stevenson South.

Buses operating along the revised 916 / 916B Rossland route serve current westbound route 408 stops along Rossland Road West between Gibbons Street and Waverley Street North.

DRT no longer operates buses southward along Waverley Street North or westward along Annapolis Avenue.
