Update — January 6, 2010: Work at platform 3 ended on Thursday, December 24, while work at platforms 1 and 2 continues.

Update — November 4: Work at platform 3 starts on Monday, November 9.

Starting Monday, September 28, GO Transit is sectioning off part of the platform for tracks 1 and 2 at Port Credit GO Station during a construction project.

Passengers boarding or leaving trains on these tracks will have access only to the five cars from the east end of the train (the end closest to the locomotive) to the accessible car.

This project is part of the ongoing program to improve the rails and install a third set of tracks along the 01 Lakeshore West line. GO expects that this phase of the project will end in December.

GO is installing a third set of tracks along the line to improve service for passengers> Only GO trains will operate along the third set of tracks and freight trains and other train activities will delay GO trains less often.
