New entrance and new platforms
for GO passengers at Union Station, starting September 14

GO Transit is improving Union Station’s Bay Street Teamway — how you get into and out of the station from Bay Street. By December, GO expects to have totally redesigned the teamway to make it more friendly and offer several more access points into the station.

On Monday, September 14, GO is finishing the first phase of its project by opening a new Bay Street entrance into the station. The entrance will improve how you get into and out of the GO concourse and provide direct access to platforms 8 and 9. GO will also open a new stairway to platform 3, letting you have easer access to the GO bus terminal on the east side of Bay Street.

The same day, GO is revising its services at Union Station to let passengers take advantage of the recent improvements and accommodate the next phase of the construction. Some trains arrive at or leave from different platforms than they do now.

GO has listed which trains arrive at or leave from different platforms starting Monday here. Always check the electronic departure boards inside the station before you head to the platform, just in case your train isn’t leaving from the same platform as it used to. Or take a look at the on-line Union Station departure board here.

GO, the TTC and the City of Toronto are all working on projects to restore and upgrade Union Station.
