28 Hanmer East

Starting Monday, June 29, Barrie Transit revised the route.

Inbound buses operate along their former route to Georgian Drive at Georgian College, then proceed:

south- and westward through the Georgian College campus;
westward along Bell Farm Road; and then
southward along St. Vincent Street to Codrington Street,
resuming their regular route westward along Codrington.

Outbound buses operate along their former route to Penetang and St. Vincent Street, then proceed:

northward along St. Vincent;
eastward along Bell Farm Road; and then
east- and northward through the Georgian College campus to Georgian Drive,
resuming their former route westward along Georgian.

Friday, June 26 was the last day until September that Barrie Transit diverted buses operating on these routes to serve passengers travelling to and from Bear Creek Secondary School. Barrie Transit resumes the extra service to the high school on Tuesday, September 8.

Outbound buses operate away from downtown Barrie.
