Update — March 23: The TTC has closed the Albion Avenue entrance to station.
Starting Sunday, February 15, the TTC will detour all buses operating to Victoria Park Station. Buses will no longer enter the bus terminal and instead pick up and drop off passengers at a temporary terminal in the former commuter parking lot at Denton and Victoria Park Avenues.
Shortly, the TTC will start to demolish the current elevated bus terminal structure during the next phase of its project to upgrade the station.
The detour affects buses operating on the 404 East York Community, 12 Kingston Rd, 67 Pharmacy and 24 Victoria Park routes. Passengers wishing to travel along the 404 East York Community and 24 Victoria Park routes may also board buses at a temporary stop on Victoria Park Avenue north of the temporary terminal.
Passengers will require paper transfers to link between buses and the subway at the station.
During this phase of the project, commuters can park in a temporary lot east of the station at 64 Denton Avenue.
Upgrading Victoria Park Station is a major component of the TTC’s long-term project to modernize stations along the 2 Bloor - Danforth subway line.
