Sunday is the last day you can use adult TTC tickets

Sunday, September 28 is the last day that you can use adult tickets to pay your TTC fare. Starting Monday, September 29 TTC drivers and fare collectors will only accept tokens from adults who wish to ride TTC vehicles.

You can exchange your adult TTC tickets for tokens until Friday, October 31 at:

  • Bloor - Yonge Subway Station, South Collector Booth, Mondays to Fridays from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. or
  • Metropass Discount Plan (MDP) Office, 1900 Yonge Street, (Davisville Station - street level), Mondays to Fridays from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.

If you have more than 50 adult TTC tickets, you can only exchange them at the MDP office.

The Toronto Transit Commission agreed to stop selling adult tickets at its meeting on Wednesday, June 18. Eliminating adult tickets will, hopefully, eliminate counterfeiting, which has cost the TTC millions.
