Toronto Transit Commission meets June 18

The Toronto Transit Commission will hold its regular monthly public meeting on Wednesday, June 18 at 1 p.m. in Committee Room #1, second floor, City Hall, 100 Queen Street West.

Among other items, the Commission will discuss:

  • eliminating adult transit tickets to prevent counterfeiting. (You can read the staff report on this issue here.)

TTC staff will also make a presentation on improving service on the 501 Queen streetcar route.

(A public forum on 501 Queen service will take place on Monday, June 16. See Transit Toronto’s June 11 post for details.)

Since this is a public meeting, members of the public can attend, and, if they wish, speak or make a presentation to the commission. If you would like to speak to the commission, e-mail the TTC’s general secretary by noon on Tuesday at: gso@ttc.ca.

You can review the meeting agenda here and review other staff reports to the Commission and minutes of previous meetings here.
