Several Greater Toronto Area transit agencies are changing routes and services this week.
GO Transit
GO will reduce the number of trips on its Highway 407 corridor, starting Wednesday, December 6. The number of passengers riding buses various along this route drops when the fall term ends at colleges and universities. GO resumes full service along Highway 407 on Tuesday, January 2.
Durham Region Transit
DRT West (Ajax and Pickering)
DRT replaces Dial-a-bus service with fixed routes on Monday to Saturday evenings, and daytime on Sundays. (No evening service on Sundays.)

181 Finch / Highway #2 / Maple Ridge
182 Bayridges / Westshore / Rosebank
183 Amberlea / Ajax

Pickering and Ajax buses now have different routings at three different times of the week:
Monday to Friday peak
Monday to Friday midday and Saturday daytime
Monday to Saturday evening and Sunday daytime
DRT Centre (Whitby)
DRT begins a new schedule for buses on the 2 / 2B Brock / Brooklin route so that buses connect better with GO trains at Whitby Station and to reflect a temporary route during construction on Carnwith Drive in Brooklin. (DRT’s website does not indicate what the temporary route is.)
Mississauga Transit
MT will revise the schedules for five routes, beginning tomorrow, Monday, December 4:
19 Hurontario
23 Lakeshore
24 University
39 Britannia
70 Keaton
Oakville Transit
OT begins Sunday and evening fixed-route service on its 28 Glen Abbey North route, beginning today, Sunday, December 3.
It also adds two additional trips to its late-night Zone Express service making a total of four late-night trips leaving Oakville Station Monday to Saturday nights, beginning tomorrow, Monday, December 4.
