New litter posters and The Spoons video on subway

I posted two items on the Spacing Wire today that may be of interest to Transit Toronto readers. Back in 1984, the local band The Spoons made a video for their “Romantic Traffic” song on Toronto’s subway system. I think James should hold a rail fan pop quiz with all of the dated trains and signage.

The other post concerns the TTC’s new anti-litter poster campaign — it’s another in a long string of disappointing self-promotional materials. All of the comments on the Spacing Wire to date seem to agree with this sentiment. And there has been a good discussion about what the TTC should do to stop litter.
