Today’s edition of Metro is advertising a five-hour public display by Bombardier highlighting what could be gliding along the streets of Toronto within the next decade.
At the Toronto Hummingbird Centre, 1 Front Street East, Bombardier will display its newest low-floor light rail vehicle from noon until 5 p.m. The event is open to the public and will feature door prizes.
The TTC is in the process of considering what vehicle will replace its CLRVs and ALRVs when these vehicles reach the end of their designed lifespans, beginning in 2008. Bombardier has not been officially selected as the builder, but should be considered a front runner.
