Weston residents packed the 2,200-seat Faith Sanctuary last night to hear representatives of GO Transit and SNC Lavalin talk about the proposed changes to come under the Blue 22 link between Union Station and Pearson Airport. Some attendees reported that the crowd was boisterous, but the meeting proceeded without hitch. This Toronto Star article has more.
Alan Tonks, the local MP attending the meeting, suggested that GO Transit might be forced to upgrade the level of its federal environmental assessment from class B to class C, although so far this is only speculation.
