TTC Adds Another Accessible Bus Route

TORONTO,ON—(Marketwire - March 25, 2008) - The TTC is pleased to introduce the next accessible bus route to its surface routes. Starting on Sunday, March 30, the 24 Victoria Park bus route will be wheelchair and scooter friendly.

Nearly 65 per cent of the TTC’s bus routes (108 of 167 routes) are now accessible.

The route will be served by low-floor kneeling buses. These buses can be identified by blue lights on either side of the front destination sign, and the blue international wheelchair symbol displayed above the front right bumper next to the front door.
