TTC announces March service changes

TORONTO, March 24 /CNW/ - On Sunday, March 27th, the TTC introduces the following service changes.

133 Neilson

  • New off-peak service to Morningside Heights

    New service to Morningside Heights will be operated on the 133C (Scarborough Centre Station-Morningside Heights) branch during the midday from Monday to Friday, and during the daytime and early evening on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

99 Arrow Road

  • New accessible service

    New accessible service will be operated on this route, using low-floor buses. There will be no change to service levels.

35 Jane

  • New accessible service

    New accessible service will be operated on this route, using low-floor buses. Service will be increased during the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday.

84 Sheppard West

  • New accessible service

    New accessible service will be operated on this route, using low-floor buses. Service will be increased during the midday and late evening from Monday to Friday.

509 Harbourfront

  • Seasonal service change

    Early evening service will be operated on Sundays and holidays, because ridership increases along Harbourfront in the spring.

  • Seasonal service change

    Service will be increased on weekends and holidays. On Saturdays, the service will improve from every 13 minutes to every 10 minutes. On Sundays and holidays, the service will improve from every 20 minutes to every 10 minutes.

86 Scarborough

  • Seasonal service change

    Later service will be provided from the Toronto Zoo in the early evening, Monday to Friday, to match the later closing time of the zoo at 6:00 p.m. The last trip on the 86A Scarborough route to Kennedy Station will leave from the Zoo at approximately 7:00 p.m. This change will begin on Friday March 11, 2005.
