TTC closes Subway between Wilson and Downsview Station to accommodate electrical repairs in Wilson Yard

Bus Shuttle provided between stations

TORONTO, Jan. 4 /CNW/ - Due to the need to repair the TTC’s power distribution cables in Wilson Yard, the subway between Wilson and Downsview will be closed at the following times:

  • 6 p.m. today to 6 a.m. Wednesday
  • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and
  • 6 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday

Full subway service is expected to resume at 6 a.m. Thursday. No other subway service is affected by this one station closing.

During the closures, shuttle buses will operate between Downsview and Wilson Stations. Buses that normally serve Downsview Station will continue to operate into that station.

The work in Wilson Yard requires that the power distribution cables be isolated for the repair work to be performed safely. The trains that are usually stored in Wilson Yard will be parked on the main track from Wilson to Downsview Stations to clear the yard.

The TTC regrets this inconvenience to its customers.
