TTC announces October service changes

TORONTO, Oct. 15 /CNW/ - On Sunday, October 17th, the TTC introduces the following service changes.

For more information on these and other service changes, TTC customers can call 416-393-INFO (4636), check the InfoPosts located at transfer locations on their routes, or access the TTC internet site at www.ttc.ca.

32 Eglinton West

  • Service increase

    Service will be increased in the midday and late evening from Monday to Friday, as part of the TTC’s Ridership Growth Strategy.

509 Harbourfront

  • End of seasonal service

    Saturday, Sunday, and holiday service will return to spring/fall levels, to match seasonal ridership reductions along Harbourfront. Sunday early evening service will be eliminated for the fall and winter, and will resume in March 2005.

85 Sheppard East

  • Service increase

    Service will be increased east of Don Mills Station in the morning peak period, as part of the TTC’s Ridership Growth Strategy.

55 Steeles East

  • Service Increase

Service will be increased in the morning peak period on the 53E (Finch Stn-Markham Rd) express branch, as part of the TTC’s Ridership Growth Strategy.

92 Woodbine South

  • Route extension

    Service will be extended to Lake Shore Boulevard at all times that the route operates, providing a new convenient bus service for residents south of Queen Street.
