No subway service to Downsview Station this Sunday

TORONTO, May 28 /CNW/ - On Sunday, May 30, 2004, subway service on the Yonge-University-Spadina subway line will turn back southbound at Wilson Station while TTC track crews perform repairs on the line north of Wilson.

As a result, the subway will not serve Downsview Station, the most northerly station on the Spadina line. In its place on Sunday, shuttle buses will run an express service every five minutes between the Downsview Station bus bay area and Wilson Station.

The state of good repair work will begin immediately following the end of Saturday evening subway service (early Sunday morning). Regular subway service to Downsview resumes at 6 a.m. Monday.

All Sunday trains on the Yonge-University-Spadina Subway will turn back southbound at Wilson Station.

TTC track work that was scheduled for Sunday, June 27 has been cancelled.

For more information on other service changes, TTC customers can call 416-393-INFO (4636), check the InfoPosts located at transfer locations on their routes, or access the TTC internet site at www.ttc.ca.
